Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting and improving production processes across the site.
Responsibilities include:
• Creating, modifying and optimising CNC programmes and tooling data to improve efficiency.
• Supporting feasibility studies and contributing engineering input during production planning.
• Reviewing existing processes and identifying opportunities for improvement in quality, cost and delivery.
• Working closely with external tooling suppliers to identify cost-saving and performance improvements.
• Leading engineering tasks and projects from concept through to implementation.
• Providing hands-on technical support to production teams during set-ups and live manufacturing.
• Undertaking additional engineering duties as required to support operational goals.
As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be expected to apply practical problem-solving skills and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
Skills & Experience:
To succeed in this Manufacturing Engineer role, you will ideally have:
• Experience with CNC turning and milling, including CNC programming (Fanuc experience advantageous).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn.
