About the Role

Actio Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well‑established engineering company based in Cramlington. We are seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator with strong 5‑axis milling experience to join a growing and highly skilled manufacturing team. This is a day‑shift position.

Key Responsibilities

* Setting and operating 5‑axis CNC milling machines

* Producing precision components from engineering drawings

* Ensuring quality standards are consistently met

* Carrying out basic machine maintenance

* Supporting continuous improvement and efficient workflow

What We’re Looking For

* Proven experience as a 5‑axis CNC miller

* Confident in both setting and operating CNC machinery

* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances

* A reliable, proactive approach to work

* Experience with any CNC control system — training can be provided, so specific controls knowledge is not essential
