Our client is seeking a highly skilled engineer to enhance safety measures and mitigate process hazards critical to operations. You will lead safety studies like HAZOP and LOPA, develop comprehensive safety management programs, and ensure compliance with safety standards. This role requires a proactive approach to incident investigation and emergency response planning.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Process Hazard Analyses including HAZOP and SIL assessments
• Develop and implement process safety management programs
• Conduct quantitative risk assessments and consequence modeling
• Review engineering designs for compliance with safety standards
• Provide technical training on process safety principles
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering or related field
• 8+ years in process safety engineering in Oil & Gas
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA PSM and API RP 750 standards
• Proven experience leading HAZOP studies
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
