Senior Energy Geotechnical Engineer

Lead geotechnical engineering for energy infrastructure in Kimberley, applying soil mechanics and foundation design expertise to complex project needs.
This senior position supports an expanding energy projects division through subsurface assessment and geotechnical recommendations. You will manage investigations, interpret soil, rock, and groundwater data, and guide designs for substations, wind turbine foundations, and solar farms. The work focuses on asset stability and longevity.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage drilling, sampling, and in-situ geotechnical testing
Assess site suitability and potential geotechnical hazards
Recommend foundations, earthworks, slopes, and retaining structures
Prepare comprehensive findings, analyses, and recommendations
Coordinate implementation with clients and construction teams
Requirements:
Master's degree in Geotechnical or related Civil Engineering
At least eight years' progressive geotechnical engineering experience
Exposure to energy or infrastructure projects
Expertise in soil mechanics, rock mechanics, and foundations
Experience using Plaxis or Geo Studio for analysis
