Senior Mining Electrical Engineer

Lead high-voltage power distribution and automation engineering for mining operations in Kimberley, supporting reliability, safety, and efficient electrical performance.
This Senior Electrical Systems Engineer role requires extensive heavy industrial experience and technical leadership. You will oversee electrical infrastructure, including power generation, substations, control systems, and automation. The position supports large-scale project delivery, operational troubleshooting, and electrical risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead electrical system design, analysis, and specification
Develop maintenance, upgrade, and reliability improvement strategies
Oversee automation and control system integration
Manage electrical project budgets, schedules, and resources
Provide technical guidance and mentor engineering teams
Requirements:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Minimum eight years' electrical engineering experience
High-voltage, power distribution, and protection scheme expertise
Industrial automation, PLC, and SCADA knowledge
Pr Eng registration with ECSA is mandatory
