Senior Industrial Engineer - Process Design

About the Role  Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Industrial Engineer specializing in Process Design to join their team in Kimberley . This role is instrumental in designing, developing, and optimizing production processes and systems to meet efficiency, quality, and cost targets. You will lead complex engineering projects, applying advanced analytical and problem-solving skills to create innovative and sustainable manufacturing solutions.

The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership capabilities and a deep technical understanding of industrial engineering principles within a key operational setting.

Key Responsibilities   Lead the design and development of new production processes and systems, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Analyze existing manufacturing processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven optimization strategies.
Develop detailed process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, and operational procedures.
Utilise simulation software and statistical tools to model, test, and validate process designs before implementation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, operations, and maintenance, to ensure successful project execution in Kimberley .
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operational staff.
Oversee the implementation of new processes and equipment, ensuring they meet performance and safety standards.
Requirements   Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a closely related field.
Over 7 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a strong emphasis on process design and development.
Expertise in utilizing process simulation tools (e.g., Arena, Any Logic) and statistical analysis software.
Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from concept to completion.
Deep understanding of manufacturing principles, lean methodologies, and Six Sigma.
Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills required for operations in Kimberley .
