Fleet Operations Coordinator

About the Role  Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Operations Coordinator to manage their fleet activities in Kimberley . This role is critical for ensuring the efficient, safe, and compliant operation of all company vehicles. You will be responsible for coordinating vehicle maintenance, managing driver schedules, processing fleet-related documentation, and ensuring adherence to company policies. Key Responsibilities   Coordinate the scheduled maintenance and repair of all fleet vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Manage driver schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and adherence to working hour regulations.
Process and maintain all fleet-related documentation, including licenses, permits, insurance, and service records.
Monitor vehicle usage and fuel consumption, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Ensure compliance with all national and local transportation laws and regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers regarding fleet-related issues and inquiries in Kimberley .
Requirements   Proven experience in fleet coordination , logistics, or a related administrative role.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with fleet management software is a plus.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers and management.
