HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver - Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Pay: £18.85–£21.13 per hour;
Overtime: £28.28–£31.69 per hour

Driver Hire Ashford & Tonbridge are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced HGV Class 2 ADR (Packages) Driver based in Cranbrook. This is an excellent temporary to permanent opportunity, with the successful candidate joining the client on a permanent contract after a successful 12‑week qualifying period. New ADR licence holders are encouraged to apply – full training will be provided.

• 42.5 hours per week
• 6:00 am starts, Monday to Friday (nights may be possible)
• Some Saturday work required
• Overtime paid after 42.5 hours

• £18.85–£21.13 per hour
• Overtime at £28.28–£31.69 per hour
• Temporary to permanent opportunity after 12 weeks

• HGV Class 2 (Category
  
  C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Digital Tachograph Card
• ADR (Packages) licence
• A minimum of 90 days of HGV driving experience within the last 12 months (insurance requirement)
• No more than 6 penalty points
• No DD or DR convictions within the last year

• Complete multi‑drop deliveries of gas cylinders to residential and commercial customers, including rural locations
• Carry out manual handling as part of your daily duties
• Deliver excellent customer service at every delivery point
• Work safely, professionally and in line with all company procedures and transport legislation
