Assistant Registrar

ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Associate Registrar & Manager Enrolment Services, the Assistant Registrar is responsible for operational leadership and direction in the development, planning, organization, coordination, and implementation of the Office of the Registrar’s policies and procedures in conjunction with the Registrar. The position provides leadership and support for staff working in registration, records, and timetable scheduling. The Assistant Registrar oversees systems development and technology innovation, ensuring quality control and the implementation of training standards.
In addition, this position ensures the accuracy, consistency, and validity of College student records and data for internal and external statistical reports and documents.
A bachelor’s degree in administration, business or equivalent with a minimum five years of related working experience and knowledge of an integrated student information system. Extensive knowledge and experience of procedures and processes in a Registrar’s office in a post-secondary institution is preferred, with experience in Colleague Student Information System.
Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check.

Position#38 – CUPE Pay Level 7 with a starting wage of $55,673.80 per year, progressing to Step 5 as per the CUPE Collective Agreement. The College also offers a comprehensive range of benefits including a defined pension, generous vacation entitlements, health and dental plans, and more.
