Junior Catering Coordinator

About the Role  Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Junior Catering Coordinator to join their dynamic team in Kimberley . This hybrid role provides a fantastic opportunity for someone starting their career in the catering industry to gain hands-on experience in event planning, client communication, and operational support. You will work closely with the senior catering team, assisting with various aspects of event preparation and execution, while also managing some administrative tasks remotely.

Key Responsibilities   Assist in the planning and coordination of catering events, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
Communicate with clients to confirm event details, dietary requirements, and special requests.
Support the operations team with event setup, service delivery, and breakdown as needed.
Manage remote administrative duties, including updating client databases and preparing event proposals.
Liaise with suppliers to confirm orders and delivery schedules.
Help maintain inventory and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available for events.
Requirements   Enthusiasm for the catering and hospitality industry.
