Key Responsibilities- Analyze vehicle damage reports and conduct thorough inspections to determine the extent of frame or chassis misalignment.
- Operate frame straightening equipment, including hydraulic rams, measuring systems, and laser alignment tools, to repair structural damage.
- Precisely measure and align vehicle frames to manufacturer specifications, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
- Collaborate with other technicians, such as panel beaters and painters, to ensure a seamless repair process.
- Maintain all frame straightening equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and in optimal working condition.
- Keep detailed records of repairs performed, measurements taken, and parts utilized.
- Proven experience as an Automotive Frame Straightener or in a similar structural repair role.
- Proficiency in operating and maintaining frame straightening machinery and related diagnostic tools.
- Strong understanding of vehicle chassis and structural components.
- Excellent measuring skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret vehicle repair manuals and structural diagrams.
