In this position, you will work under supervision, addressing basic customer inquiries and managing incoming calls. Your key responsibilities include placing orders through various channels, negotiating pricing, and ensuring inventory levels meet customer needs. Establishing solid customer relationships will be crucial in influencing repeat business and improving processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and fax
• Place customer orders using electronic and manual methods
• Negotiate product pricing to optimize profitability
• Maintain and source inventory levels for customer demands
• Expedite backorders and handle customer returns
Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED required
• 0-3 years related customer service experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Basic computer proficiency needed for order processing
• Product knowledge is preferred
