As the regional Trauma and ICU Referral Centre, EKRH sees approximately 23,000 emergency patient visits per year, cared for by our team of 10 emergency physicians. • You'll hold, or be eligible for, licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC).
• You'll have, or be eligible for, your Certification in the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CCFP).
• You’ll have, or be eligible for, your CCFP (EM). You will also be considered if you have, or are eligible for, your CCFP and have emergency experience.
• If you trained in the US, hold ABMS board certification in internal medicine, and are already authorized to work in Canada, you are invited to apply for a locum. To determine if you meet the criteria for the USA certified class licensure, please .
• To practice medicine here, you’ll have coverage with the Canadian Medical Protective Association.
