You will be responsible for providing anesthesia in four operating rooms, conducting pre-operative evaluations, and managing a pre-surgical screening clinic. Engaging in teaching and mentorship as a part of UBC’s Faculty of Medicine, you'll also lead quality improvement efforts while reinforcing your professional skills through continuing medical education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer anesthesia for surgeries across four ORs

• Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments for patients

• Manage the pre-surgical screening clinic effectively

• Mentor and educate residents and medical students

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and CME

Requirements:

• Current license from CPSBC is essential

• Mandatory full CMPA membership

• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC)

• Dedication to teaching and quality improvement

• Effective communication and teamwork skills required
