Description: Grade 3 Teacher

Location: Gordon Terrace Elementary School, Cranbrook, BC

Contract Type: Part-time Temporary (0.413 FTE)

Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $26,166 to $46,174, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

• Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
• Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.

• Teach Grade 3; this is a 0.413 FTE temporary contract starting February 2, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to March 13, 2026, or return of the incumbent.
• Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience at the Primary level.
• Schedule includes full days on Mondays and Tuesdays; all work is on site.
