Part-time Temporary (0.469 FTE)

Salary Range: $34,846 to $61,491 per annum. Placement on the range is based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

• Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
• Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
• Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience at the Primary level.

Grade 3 Teacher, 0.469 FTE temporary contract starting February 4, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to June 25, 2026, or return of the incumbent.

Position scheduled for Wednesdays and Thursdays. All work will be on site.

Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
