In this role, you will be responsible for teaching English 8-9, conducting Literacy Interventions, and working with Alternate Education programs. A valid degree and experience in teaching English are essential. Candidates with BC Teacher Certification will be prioritized, and applications should be submitted via Make a Future, including a resume and references.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement engaging English lessons for middle school students
• Support students through Literacy Intervention programs
• Oversee the academic needs of Alternate Education students
• Regularly evaluate and assess student learning outcomes
• Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance learning
Requirements:
• Preferred BC Teacher Certification
• Relevant degree or formal training in English education
• Prior teaching experience in a middle school setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Dedication to instructional excellence and student development
