Location: Pinewood Elementary School, Cranbrook, BC

Contract Type: Full-time Temporary (1.0 FTE)

Salary Range: $65,258 to $115,156 annually, placement based on length of service and qualifications per the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers’ Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

Kindergarten/Grade 1 Teacher. 1.0 FTE temporary contract starting June 16, 2026 or upon completion of posting process to June 25, 2026, or return of incumbent. Must have a degree/formal training or teaching experience at the Primary level. Continuing teachers must vacate their continuing assignment unless the full‑time teaching assignment is greater than the status of the temporary posting.

• BC Teacher Certification is preferred.
• Degree, formal training, and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
