Term Criminology Instructor

Position: Term Criminology Instructor at College of the Rockies
Join College of the Rockies as a Term Criminology Instructor from August 2026. Deliver diverse courses in Criminal and Social Justice, including Introduction to Criminology and Canadian Law.

This full-time role involves teaching in various formats: face-to-face, online, and blended courses. The successful candidate must have a Master's Degree in Criminology and proficiency in adult learning environments. Experience teaching online and at the post-secondary level is preferred, along with a valid Criminal Record Check.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Introduction to Criminology, Canadian Law, and Research Methods

• Deliver courses in multiple formats to enhance accessibility

• Engage with students in a supportive learning environment

• Develop course material and assessments based on curriculum

• Maintain an inclusive atmosphere for all learners

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Criminology or related field

• Experience in adult education and various teaching modalities

• Online teaching credentials preferred

• At least two years of post-secondary teaching experience

• Criminal Record Check completion may be required
