Position: Part-Time Teacher for Grade 1/2
Join T. M. Roberts Elementary School as a part-time Grade 1/2 Teacher, beginning September 8, 2026. Ideal candidates hold BC Teacher Certification and have experience at the Primary level.

This role is a 0.90 FTE continuing contract, ensuring engaging learning for Grade 1 and 2 students in Cranbrook, BC. Teachers will be encouraged to utilize their formal training and teaching experience effectively in a supportive educational environment. All work is conducted on-site at the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver effective teaching for grades 1 and 2

• Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum

• Maintain up-to-date student records and assessments

• Collaborate with colleagues and school staff on student success

Requirements:

• BC Teacher Certification preferred

• Degree or formal training in Primary education

• Teaching experience relevant to primary level

• Strong communication skills with students and parents

• Submit resume and educational qualifications for review
