Description: Humanities Teacher, Grades 7-8

Location: Parkland Middle School, Cranbrook, BC

Contract Type: Part-time Temporary (0.429 FTE)

Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $30,198 to $50,884, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).

Preference: Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.

Must have a degree or formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.

Humanities Teacher, Grades 7-8 (0.429 FTE temporary contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to June 25, 2027).

Must have a degree or formal training and/or teaching experience at the Intermediate level. Must have a degree or formal training and/or teaching experience in Humanities.

This position is tentatively scheduled to include 1 block of English 7, 1 block of English 8 and 1 block of Social Studies
