Location: Parkland Middle School, Cranbrook, BC

Contract Type: Part-time Continuing (0.286 FTE)

Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $20,132 to $33,922, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.

Humanities Teacher, Grades 8-9

0.286 FTE continuing contract, starting September 8, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process.

Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience at the Intermediate level. Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Humanities.

This position is tentatively scheduled to include 1 block of English 8 and 1 block of English
9. Please note that all work will be on site.

• Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
• Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
