Experienced Learning Services Teacher K-6

Gordon Terrace Elementary is looking for an Experienced Learning Services Teacher for Grades K-6 in Cranbrook, BC. Engage creatively with students in a supportive environment.

This full-time continuing position will commence in September 2026, focusing on 80% Learning Services and 20% Classroom Prep duties. Ideal candidates will possess a relevant degree or certification and experience teaching at the K-6 level. You will thrive in a collaborative, inclusive setting, enhancing student learning opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement innovative learning strategies

• Support teachers in creating inclusive classroom environments

• Conduct assessments to guide student learning

• Prepare resources that meet curriculum standards

• Offer tailored instruction for diverse student needs

Requirements:

• Preference for candidates with BC Teacher Certification

• Formal training in Learning Services or Inclusive Education

• Hands-on teaching experience at the elementary level

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

• Dedicated to working within the classroom setting
