The School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay) invites applications for a Grade 4 Teacher role, starting September 14, 2026. Successful candidates will have a degree and relevant teaching experience, preferably with BC Teacher Certification. This position is vital to nurturing our students' learning at the Intermediate level.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement curriculum for Grade 4
• Regularly assess student academic performance
• Cultivate a positive classroom atmosphere
• Engage in teamwork with staff and educators
• Contribute to school and community initiatives
Requirements:
• Degree in Education required
• Prior Intermediate teaching experience preferred
• BC Teacher Certification is an asset
