Location: Invermere
Become a Teacher Teaching On Call in the Golden Zone! Rocky Mountain School District No. 6 is looking for dedicated educators eager to positively influence their communities.
This role is effective immediately through June 30, 2027, targeting educators with a BC Teaching Certificate and relevant teaching experience. Applicants should exhibit strong instructional practices and a commitment to embracing diverse learning environments while engaging with students and families.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach a variety of subjects based on student needs
• Use effective communication for student support
• Develop and implement diverse instructional strategies
• Engage in collaborative initiatives with peers
• Support student mental health and wellbeing
Requirements:
• BC Teaching Certificate or eligibility for it
• Experience teaching at relevant grade levels
• Strong interpersonal communication capabilities
• Familiarity with technology in the classroom
• Commitment to promoting equity and diversity
