Drilling Engineer

This role involves the planning, execution, and optimization of drilling operations for oil and gas wells. You will be responsible for designing drilling programs, managing drilling risks, and ensuring efficient and safe well construction. • Design and plan drilling programs , including well trajectories, casing designs, and mud programs.
• Perform technical evaluations of drilling equipment and services.
• Manage drilling operations, supervise drilling crews, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards.
• Analyze drilling data, troubleshoot operational issues, and optimize drilling performance.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans for potential drilling hazards.
• Prepare detailed drilling reports and cost estimates.

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling engineering and operations.
• Strong knowledge of drilling fluids, cementation, well control, and directional drilling.
• Experience with drilling simulation software and cost estimation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical information clearly.
