Electrical Design Drafter

About the Role  Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Drafter to join their team in Kimberley . This hybrid role offers the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects while enjoying a balance between office-based work and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining accurate electrical drawings, schematics, and documentation under the supervision of Electrical Engineers.

Key Responsibilities   Produce detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software according to engineering specifications.
Ensure all drawings adhere to company drafting standards, industry codes, and client requirements.
Revise existing drawings based on engineering changes, site feedback, or project updates.
Assist engineers in the preparation of technical documentation, including equipment schedules and wiring lists.
Maintain organized drawing archives and manage drawing revisions effectively.
Coordinate with engineers and project teams to clarify design details and ensure accuracy of documentation.
Requirements   National Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrical Drafter or related role.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or similar CAD software for electrical drafting.
Strong understanding of electrical symbols, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment and communicate effectively.
