Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to oversee critical mining operations in Northern Cape. In this role, you will conduct geological assessments, perform stability analyses, and design engineering solutions for ground support. Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed geotechnical site investigations for mines

• Perform stability analyses and recommend ground support systems

• Develop geotechnical monitoring programs for in-situ assessments

• Provide guidance on mine design and operational procedures

• Prepare comprehensive geotechnical documents and reports

Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD in Geotechnical or Mining Engineering

• Minimum 8 years of underground mining experience

• Knowledge of rock mechanics and numerical modeling principles

• Proficient in geotechnical software like FLAC or Plaxis

• Strong analytical and report-writing skills
