Become a Personal Support Worker with Spectrum Home & Family Care in Fernie, BC. This part-time, casual position includes personal care, companionship, and support for daily activities.
Spectrum Home & Family Care is seeking a self-disciplined individual to fill a casual, part-time Personal Support Worker role. You will assist clients with bathing, personal hygiene, and regular exercise, while also providing companionship and light housekeeping. Immediate availability is required for various shifts including days, evenings, and nights.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
• Encourage regular exercise like walking
• Help clients with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Offer companionship to clients
Requirements:
• Fluent in English
• Secondary school graduation certificate
• First Aid and Health Care Aide Certificates
• Ability to lift 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Clear criminal background check and references
Support clients in their daily routines, ensuring they receive compassionate, comprehensive care in a home environment.
