Position: Facilities Attendant Grounds Auxiliary on call )

Facilities Attendant – Grounds

Auxiliary/On Call as required.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the grounds and landscaping areas of the campus.
  • Provide security and first aid services on weekends.
  • Offer operational assistance and support to the Facilities Manager, department and staff.
Qualifications
  • Grade 12 or equivalent education.
  • Class 5 Driver's License.
  • First Aid Level 1 certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in building maintenance.
  • OR minimum of 2 years’ experience in groundskeeping and landscaping.
  • OR an equivalent combination of general building trades experience (including minor plumbing, carpentry, electrical, painting and grounds maintenance).
  • Demonstrated work experience in a variety of related building trades.

Successful candidates may be required to complete a Criminal Record Check.

Salary & Benefit
  • Position #004 – Auxiliary.
  • CUPE Pay Level 4, starting wage of $27.77 per hour.
  • Progression to Step 5 per CUPE Collective Agreement.
  • Includes 8% in lieu of benefits and vacation.
Preferred Start Date

ASAP (Immediately).
