Elk Valley Dozer​/Grader Operator Position

Reporting to the Pit Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Dozers and Graders in an open pit mining environment. Based in Sparwood, B.C., this position involves a 4x4 shift rotation, requiring candidates to meet health standards and production goals. Key Responsibilities:

• Operate D10/D11 Dozers and 16M/24M Graders safely

• Participate in health and safety programs and policies

• Meet daily operational production targets

• Communicate using two-way radios with team members

• Inspect equipment for functionality and safety

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or minimum five years of experience

• Valid class 5 driver’s license without restrictions

• At least 5 years experience in equipment operation in mining

• Proven skills in operating D10 Dozers and 16M Graders

• Compliance with pre-employment drug screening
