NICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Cranbrook, British Columbia
We are seeking experienced and dedicated NICU Registered Nurses to support neonatal intensive care services in Cranbrook, BC
. In this role, you will provide specialized, high-acuity care to premature and critically ill newborns, working closely with neonatologists, pediatric teams, and families. A strong foundation in evidence‑based neonatal care and family‑centered practice is essential.
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and premature neonates
- Perform continuous assessment, monitoring, and documentation of neonatal conditions
- Manage ventilators, IV therapy, TPN, central lines, and specialized NICU equipment
- Administer medications and treatments according to neonatal protocols
- Support neonatal stabilization, resuscitation, and emergency interventions
- Educate and support parents, promoting bonding and family involvement in care
- Collaborate with neonatologists, pediatricians, respiratory therapists, and allied health teams
- Maintain accurate charting while upholding professional, ethical, and safety standards

Shifts: Days, nights, weekends, and rotating shifts available

– What You’ll Bring
âś” Current registration in good standing with BCCNM
✔ Minimum 1–2 years of recent NICU experience
âś”
CPR/BLS and NRP required (additional neonatal certifications an asset)
✔ Strong skills in neonatal assessment, critical care, and life‑support interventions
✔ Ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive in high‑pressure situations
✔ Excellent communication and family‑support skills
✔ Commitment to culturally safe, inclusive, and trauma‑informed neonatal care
