As a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, your role includes the assessment, planning, and evaluation of care for neonates. You'll be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team focused on delivering client-centered care. This position involves 12-hour shifts with rotating days off, allowing for both day and night work.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of neonates
• Plan and implement individualized client care
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals
• Evaluate patient progress and adapt care
• Provide support and information to families
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Active registration with BCCNM
• Specialized knowledge in Neonatal nursing
• NRP certification within 2 years
• CPR certification within the last 3 years
Become a vital part of the NICU team and provide essential care to newborns at Interior Health in Kelowna.
