This part-time (0.48) role requires an experienced Public Health Nurse to work with our Early Maternity team at Cranbrook Better Babies. You will provide vital breastfeeding support, health education, and coordinate services with community agencies, ensuring a smooth transition for families from hospital to home. Your contributions will directly enhance maternal and child health in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct prenatal and postnatal assessments and referrals

• Provide breastfeeding support and self-care education

• Coordinate PHN services with community agencies

• Offer health education to individuals and families

• Present health promotion campaigns and resources

Requirements:

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing

• Current BCCNM registration as a nurse

• One year of recent related maternity care experience

• Valid BC Driver’s License

• Completion of lactation course required
