Cashier Leader

Position: The Home Depot Cashier Leader
Take charge as the Head Cashier at The Home Depot's Cranbrook location. This part-time role emphasizes leadership and positive customer interactions while managing cashiers and front-end associates.

As Head Cashier, support the Front End Supervisor by instilling GET behaviors among staff. Ensure optimal checkout experiences through effective scheduling and by assisting in training.

Your role is crucial for maintaining high service standards and operational preparedness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and encourage cashiers in customer service practices

• Ensure line management is efficient for customer flow

• Walk the front end daily for readiness checks

• Assign tasks to backup cashiers as needed

• Follow and enforce safety procedures and policies

Requirements:

• 1 to 2 years of retail or cashier experience preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent necessary

• Excellent communication and team-building skills

• Detail-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction

• Open to working fluctuating hours including weekends
