Regional Sales Manager

About the Role  Our client, a leading player in the FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Regional Sales Manager to lead their sales efforts in the Northern Cape region, based out of Kimberley. This leadership role is responsible for driving sales performance, expanding market penetration, and managing a dedicated sales team across the region. You will develop and implement effective sales strategies, build strong relationships with key distributors and retailers, and ensure the consistent achievement of revenue targets.

The ideal candidate possesses exceptional leadership qualities, a deep understanding of the FMCG market dynamics, and a proven track record of success in managing and motivating sales teams to achieve ambitious goals.

Key Responsibilities   Develop and execute comprehensive regional sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
Lead, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to maximize performance and drive sales growth.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, wholesalers, and major retail accounts.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities.
Oversee inventory management and distribution logistics within the region to ensure product availability.
Manage the regional sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
Requirements   Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry , with at least 3 years in a sales management or leadership role.
Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and achieve targets consistently.
Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
