Interior Health Security Officer Position

Become a Casual Relational Security Officer with Interior Health in Cranbrook, ensuring the safety and security of patients and staff in a healthcare setting. Flexible shifts range from 0-37.5 hours.

Under the Supervisor, Relational Security, you will maintain security protocols across the facility.

Your role includes patrolling, responding to emergencies, and ensuring a calm environment for patients. You’ll work collaboratively with medical teams and provide essential reporting of incidents to uphold security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol property and monitor security equipment

• Assess emergency situations and take appropriate actions

• Resolve disturbances through non-violent intervention

• Assist staff and patients during security escort requests

• Prepare reports and maintain daily logs
