About the Role  Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Blockchain Engineer with a strong focus on Solidity development to join their innovative team in Kimberley . This role is critical for architecting, developing, and deploying secure and efficient smart contracts and decentralized applications on platforms like Ethereum. Key Responsibilities   Design, develop, test, and deploy complex smart contracts using Solidity.
Architect and build decentralized applications (dApps) and blockchain-based solutions.
Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency for production environments.
Conduct thorough code reviews and security audits of blockchain codebases.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
Stay at the forefront of blockchain technology advancements, particularly in smart contract development.
Requirements   Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on blockchain development and smart contracts.
Expert-level proficiency in Solidity and experience with Ethereum development frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle).
Deep understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms, and decentralized systems.

Experience with security best practices for smart contract development and vulnerability mitigation.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead technical projects effectively.
