401k Paid time off About the Opportunity Our client is a well-established commercial construction based organization seeking an experienced Controller to oversee accounting and finance operations. This position plays a key role in financial reporting, cash management, process improvement, compliance, and operational support within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Conduct payroll reviews and provide labor bill rate support for project-related staff.

Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, including WIP, profit and loss, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

Implement and maintain robust financial controls and procedures.

Manage all tax filings.

Monitor daily cash management and cash control processes.

Manage month-end close process including preparation of journal entries, supporting schedules and balance sheet reconciliations.

Coordinate with external auditors on annual financial review.

Provide regular reports and updates to senior and executive management.

Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards, including GAAP.Manage accounts payable and receivable related to construction projects.
