Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is a leading power engineering consultant firm that provides engineering, system planning and studies, technical consultation, project management, surveying, environmental planning, commissioning/testing, and construction services to electric utilities, energy developers, and industrials throughout the U.S. Our experience spans system voltages from 4.16 kV through 765 kV.

Responsibilities
  • Define project scopes of work, create project proposals, and manage project budgeting and scheduling.
  • Plan and develop engineering projects with unique or unusual problems that impact ECI’s performance and reputation.
  • Interpret, organize, execute, and coordinate work assignments, maintaining liaison with professionals inside and outside ECI to stay technically current.
  • Plan, organize, and supervise project teams in the performance of engineering work.
  • Assume autonomous QA/QC responsibility in areas of primary technical competence.
  • Manage groups of engineers, technicians, and other project support team members of various sizes.
  • Hold primary responsibility for project budgets and schedules, and oversee the impact of project performance on ECI’s overall firm performance.
Qualifications
  • BSEE or BSCE with 10 years’ experience, or an MS in engineering with sufficient experience for advancement, or a combination of applicable education and experience as determined by management.
  • P.E. and/or PMP is a plus.
  • Proven verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work individually and on a team, with a high level of detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Will be subject to client‑mandated drug and background checking.
  • Occasional travel/driving required.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $125,000 - $162,000 Annually
