Senior IT Project Manager – Enterprise System

Join an established North American distribution organization undergoing significant technology modernization across its enterprise operations. This role sits within a highly collaborative IT project-management organization supporting initiatives that affect finance, procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, sales, supply chain, and other critical business functions. • Senior direct-hire technology project-management opportunity.
• Lead highly visible enterprise systems initiatives.
• Work across ERP and other large-scale business technology programs.
• Partner closely with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and implementation partners.
• Based in Cranford, NJ, with a significant onsite presence expected, generally 3-5 days per week.
• Opportunity to remain involved in multiple enterprise initiatives beyond the initial transformation program.

• Lead large, complex technology projects from initiation through implementation and stabilization.
• Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, dependencies, budgets, risks, and issue-management processes.
• Coordinate business stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, implementation partners, and leadership across multiple work streams.
• Establish clear project governance and ensure accountability for milestones and deliverables.
• Identify schedule, resource, and dependency risks early and drive realistic mitigation plans.
• Manage enterprise projects affecting functions such as finance, procurement, inventory, warehouse operations, supply chain, sales, and IT.
• Facilitate effective change management and stakeholder communication throughout project delivery.
• Provide concise executive reporting and elevate issues requiring leadership decisions.
• Support ERP initiatives, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, as well as other enterprise-wide platforms.
• Apply structured project-management methodology while adapting appropriately to individual program needs.

• Approximately 10+ years of IT project-management experience.
• Recent hands-on ownership of complex technology projects.
• Experience leading major enterprise system implementations or upgrades.
• Proven ability to manage project schedules, risks, budgets, dependencies, stakeholders, vendors, and delivery.
• Experience working across multiple business functions and technical teams.
• Background supporting manufacturing, distribution, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or similar operational environments is strongly preferred.
• ERP implementation experience is highly desirable.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is a plus.
• PMP, PMI, Agile, or other formal project-management certification is strongly preferred.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to professionally challenge unrealistic expectations while maintaining strong business relationships.
• Comfortable working onsite in Cranford, NJ on a regular basis.
