Join a dynamic team as a Facilities Supervisor where you'll lead custodial and sanitation efforts across an industrial facility. The role ensures high standards of cleanliness, safety, and operational compliance on a regular weekday schedule. This opportunity offers the chance to implement environmental sustainability plans, oversee key vendor relationships, and support a culture of continuous improvement.
Base pay range$70,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Responsibilities- Collaborate with safety and operations teams to uphold compliance with OSHA, state and local codes, and fire safety regulations.
- Supervise sanitation and custodial staff, monitoring work quality and adherence to safety procedures.
- Maintain inventory and purchasing of cleaning supplies, and update SOPs as necessary for new materials.
- Lead the training and development of custodial staff to ensure consistent performance and compliance.
- Conduct and document regular inspections of the facility’s cleanliness and condition.
- Ensure both interior and exterior areas of the facility are properly maintained and presentable.
- Manage vendor relationships, including negotiating supply contracts under 'blanket order' concepts for cost efficiency.
- Support environmental sustainability by developing and executing plans to reduce the facility’s environmental impact.
- Ensure proper use and provision of PPE and maintain safety-first work practices.
- Serve as the liaison with operational stakeholders regarding facility projects, enhancements, and changes.
- At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within an industrial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, self-directed setting.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Experience working with vendors and contractors in a facilities management capacity.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on compliance, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Capable of creating and managing operational documentation, including SOPs.
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, including reading and writing proficiency.
- Previous experience with industrial layout and facility design is a plus.
- Proficiency in implementing environmental sustainability practices is preferred.
- Energetic and dependable with a hands-on, problem-solving approach.
