Our client, a reputable independent garage located in Cranleigh, Surrey, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their professional team. Benefits:- Basic salary up to £55,000 depending on experience
- Bonus scheme providing over £6,000 annually, with an estimated OTE of approximately £55,000 based on performance
- Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am to 5:00pm
- Optional Saturday overtime (1 in 4 Saturdays, 8:30am to 1:00pm) with additional earning potential
- 22 days holiday plus bank holidays

- Conduct advanced diagnostics and fault finding on a broad range of vehicles, including prestige and higher-end makes
- Carry out mechanical repairs, routine servicing, and manufacturer-standard repairs
- Identify and resolve intermittent faults requiring detailed diagnostic skills
- Support engine rebuilds, timing chain repairs, and software updates using OEM tools and parts
- Ensure repairs meet high standards and contribute to exceptional customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with new vehicle technologies and diagnostic techniques
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic capabilities
- Full UK driving licence
- Level 3 qualifications in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- MOT Tester qualification is desirable but can be obtained through the employer if not already held
- Experience with electrical diagnostics and tools such as Autel, Autologic, VIDA, or ODIS
- Attention to detail, commitment to quality, and a willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
