Cranleigh School, a leading co-educational boarding and day school, is seeking two enthusiastic and committed Sports Graduate Assistants to join our ambitious sports department from mid-August 2026. This is a unique opportunity to work across both our Senior (13–18) and Prep (3–13) schools, contributing to a program renowned for both national excellence and inclusive participation.
The Role
This is a varied and rewarding residential position designed for graduates looking to gain comprehensive experience in a high-performing educational environment. You will:
* Coach & Officiate:
Lead sessions and manage teams in at least two core sports (Hockey, Rugby, Football, Cricket, Netball, or Tennis).
* Support Academics:
Assist in your degree specialism, with opportunities for team-teaching and classroom support.
* Pastoral Care:
Act as a Tutor, deliver PSHE content, and support the vibrant boarding community through weekly evening duties.
* Co-Curricular:
Assist with outdoor education, house competitions, and the wider activity programme.
About You
We are looking for proactive team players who act as role models for our pupils.
* Essential:
Proficiency in two core sports, experience working with young people, and excellent communication skills.
* Desirable: A 2:1 degree (or above) in a relevant subject and experience across Prep and Senior age groups.
* Mindset: A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of pupils within a boarding context.
