About Us

Barrow Hills School is a co‑educational preparatory school for children aged 2–13. We pride ourselves on delivering academic success within a balanced, generous education. Our strong ethos is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and connection, and we are widely recognised for our warm, family‑like atmosphere. Our family has the unique advantage of governance by the Bridewell Royal Hospital Foundation and close affiliation with our partner school, King Edward’s Witley.

We benefit from centuries of charitable history, links to the City of London and the generous shared resource an independent senior school provides.

Above all, our aim is to inspire happy children—and every role in our school contributes to that mission.

What We Offer
  • A rewarding role within a friendly, supportive community
  • Meals provided while on duty during term time
  • Cycle to Work scheme
  • Free on‑site parking

Barrow Hills School is a registered charity committed to equality, diversity, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. Please refer to our websites or ask HR for our child protection and rehabilitation of offenders’ policy. We especially welcome applicants from under‑represented groups. All successful applicants are required to complete an enhanced disclosure through the DBS.

Shortlisted candidates will also be reviewed on social media/on‑line platforms.
