We are recruiting an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Secondary School in Farnham, Surrey. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience while completing a fully funded Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship.

Working alongside experienced teachers and support staff, you’ll help students achieve their academic potential while developing the skills and knowledge needed for a successful career in education.

• £10.00 – £13.00 per hour (above standard apprenticeship wage)
• FREE Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship qualification (CACHE)
• Opportunity to progress onto a Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification
• Dedicated mentoring and ongoing support from Engage Education
• Practical, school-based training in a secondary education setting
• Gain valuable experience supporting students across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small group interventions
• Assist with literacy, numeracy and subject-specific learning activities
• Help maintain positive classroom behaviour and student engagement
• Support students with additional learning needs and barriers to learning
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom resources
• Encourage students’ confidence, independence and personal development

• Commitment to completing an 11-month apprenticeship programme
• GCSE Maths and English Grade C/4 or above preferred
• Eligible to undertake an apprenticeship and not currently enrolled on another government-funded course
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and strong interpersonal skills
