Pay: £26,951.00 – £29,881.00 per year GBP / Year
The Role and Responsibilities – Support WorkerYou will play a vital part in the tenants’ personal development and community involvement as a Supported Living Assistant, acting as a critical worker and advocate.
Important responsibilities include:- Daily Support:
Helping with fundamental living skills such as shopping, cooking, managing the home and personal growth. - Promoting Independence:
Encouraging tenants to develop new abilities, gain self‑confidence and effectively manage their emotions. - Activity Facilitation:
Organizing and participating in a range of interesting excursions and activities, including local trips, college visits, workouts and nature walks. - Team
Collaboration:
Working as a dedicated team to foster an atmosphere of respect, inclusivity and empowerment.
- Financial Incentive: A £1,000 Retention Bonus within the first 18 months of employment.
- Professional Development: Continuing customised training, including Team Teach positive behaviour support, and a free Level 3 Health & Social Care diploma.
