This role will initially be based in Bradford but were moving our office to Leeds Valley Park in summer 2026, so youll be based there in the future - Hybrid Working (1 day in the office a week Bradford/Leeds) Work type:

The IT function are a key part of how we plan to meet the changing expectations of customers and regulators. The SAP team is part of the IT function and plays a key role in optimising and transforming our SAP applications and associated Enterprise Systems. We support business areas such as Finance, HR, Procurement, Capital Delivery and Asset Maintenance/Management. Our team consists of functional and technical consultants, along with support related roles in Project Management, Business Analysis and Service Management, the SAP Data Principal Consultant will play a key role in the SAP Data & Analytics team driving business change and being a subject matter expert for the technology within this space.

Where you fit in:
As our SAP Principal Consultant Data you will:
Partner with SAP Functional and Technical Consultants to drive and embed robust data governance principles across a complex SAP landscape. Lead data-focused work streams across multiple projects, taking ownership of the end-to-end design, build and execution of data migration activities. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, provide expert guidance and translate business needs into effective technical solutions. Apply deep expertise across SAP S/4

HANA and SAP Cloud solutions, including Success Factors, Concur and Ariba, with a strong understanding of data models, master data and end-to-end transactional processes. Champion data quality, integrity and compliance by promoting best practice in Data Governance, Data Protection and information management. What skills & qualifications you will need:
Strong understanding of data migration tools and methodologies, such as SAP Migration Cockpit, BODS, LSMW, or third party ETL tools. Strong grounding in data architecture, data modelling, data cleansing and data integration patterns. Proven ability to manage complex cutover activities from a data perspective, ensuring minimal disruption & successful migration activities. Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.

Experience with SAP BTP, Datasphere, or cloud based data platforms.
