We're working with a highly respected, award-winning independent automotive business looking to recruit a Technical Sales Advisor to join their growing team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone with strong technical knowledge who wants to move away from the workshop, or for an experienced customer-facing automotive professional looking for a more technical role.

This is a varied, customer-focused position where no two days are the same. You'll be handling enquiries from a range of channels, including phone calls, Whats App, social media and existing customers, helping them understand what repairs may be required and providing accurate estimates.

Using your technical knowledge, you'll discuss symptoms with customers, explain the most appropriate repair options, prepare estimates and answer any questions they may have. You'll then follow up where appropriate, building confidence and converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.

There is no cold calling or high-pressure sales. Instead, you'll be working with warm enquiries and an established customer base, offering honest, knowledgeable advice and helping customers make informed decisions about their vehicle repairs.

Our client is looking for someone with a strong technical understanding of modern vehicles who also enjoys working with people. You'll be confident discussing repairs with customers, explaining technical information in a clear and straightforward way, and helping them make informed decisions without resorting to hard selling.

Whether you're currently on the tools and looking for a new challenge, or you're already in a customer-facing automotive role, you'll have the confidence to build trust with customers, communicate effectively and use your technical knowledge to help convert enquiries into confirmed bookings. Most importantly, you'll be motivated by providing excellent customer service and seeing jobs through from enquiry to booking.

• Excellent vehicle technical knowledge
• The ability to explain complex repairs in a simple, customer-friendly way
• Confidence speaking with customers over the phone and in person
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Experience producing estimates or quotations
• Confidence using modern systems and technology

• Salary of up to £40,000 depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
