Job Summary

The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily accounting operations of a multi-location manufacturing organization. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with GAAP, effective cost accounting, and strong internal controls across all facilities. The Accounting Manager will lead and develop the accounting team—Senior Staff Accountant and Accountant (Payroll)—to support month‑end and year‑end close, and partner with operations to drive financial accuracy and efficiency.

• Manage and oversee the month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close processes for multiple manufacturing locations
• Prepare and review financial statements, journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Ensure timely and accurate consolidation of financial results across all locations within 10 business days
• Oversee cost accounting functions including variance analysis, and inventory valuation
• Monitor inventory transactions, physical counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation processes
• Partner with operations to analyze manufacturing variances, labor, overhead, and material costs

• Establish and maintain strong internal controls across all locations
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements>
